A Magical Tour of Musical Cities
The Ivy Camerata Orchestra will perform their season finale on May 15th at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m.

The full symphony orchestra will present, “A Magical Tour of Musical Cities”. They will perform some of the most beloved works that pay homage to some of the world’s most musical cities.

The youth orchestra will open with Mussorgsky’s “Great Gate of Kiev” and continue with selections from the musical, “Chicago”, the opera “The Barber of Seville”, and “Thee Pines of Rome”. The string section will be featured in the finale from Dvorak’s Serenade.

No concert highlighting cities would be complete without “New York, New York” and the Ivy Camerata Orchestra will perform this great work honoring The Big Apple.

Ivy Camerata Orchestra
Founded in 2003. the Ivy Camerata Orchestra is comprised of talented young musicians up to 20 years of age from the Dallas / Collin County area.



The Ivy Camerata Orchestra is under the musical direction of Julianne Booth. A professional violinist and award winning orchestra conductor, Maestro Booth is also a professional adjudicator and serves as a guest conductor for many All-Region, All-City and chamber orchestras in the Southwest. Ms. Booth's school orchestras have placed among the top 5 in the State of Texas for three of the last four years.
